| Maria est une
argentine au caractère taciturne et réservé qui
vit à Barcelone. La mort de son grand-père, dernier
survivant de la famille, l’oblige à retourner dans un
coin perdu de l’Argentine, Indio Muerto. Après un voyage interminable, Maria arrive dans une contrée habitée seulement par un vent persistant et des nuages de poussière qui amplifient la solitude du lieu. Contre toute attente, Maria décide de rester.. Maria is a shy and introverted Argentine woman who lives in Barcelona. When her grandfather and last relation dies, she finds herself obliged to return to Indio Muerto, a remote village in the Argentine hinterlands. Alter a seemingly unending journey, Maria reaches the ranch. The desolate solitude of this place is further emphasized by the ceaseless wind and whirling clouds of dust. Unexpectedly, Maria decides to stay on. |

| Fernando Díaz
est né à Buenos
Aires en 1964. Il est avocat. Il étudie à l’Université du
cinéma de Benos Aires. En 1998, sort son premier long métrage
Plaza de Almas qui obtient plusieurs prix internationaux. Il est
professeur de scénario à l’Université Fernando Díaz was born in Buenos Aires in 1964. A lawyer by profesión, he went on to study at the Cinema University. His first full lenght film, Plaza de Almas was premiered in 1998 and met with international acclaim. He teaches at the University and also writes scripts. |
