| Suzy, jeune
fille des quartiers populaires de Yaoundé. Pour sortir sa
famille de la misère, elle s’engage dans une aventure
périlleuse pour atteindre Paris, son eldorado. Après
plusieurs tentatives d’achat de visa et un passage en force
manqué par la frontière maritime entre le Cameroun
et la Guinée Equatoriale, elle n’hésitera pas à vendre
son corps pour atteindre son objectif. L’atterrissage à Paris
sera rude et la désillusion totale.. Suzy is a young woman from a working-class neighbourhood of Yaoundé. To realize her dream of going to Paris and ease her family’s financial plight, she embarks on a dangerous adventure. After several unsuccessful attempts at buying a visa, and a failed attempt to cross the maritime border between Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, she opts for prostitution. Having succeeded in her plans, she discovers the harsh realities of life in Paris. |

en 1964, Joséphine Ndagnou, camerounaise, réalise pour
la télévision nationale du Cameroun (CRTV) pendant
15 ans. « Paris à tout prix » est son premier
long métrage. Elle l’a écrit, le réalise,
le produit et y interprète le rôle principal. Born in Cameroon in 1964, Joséphine Ndagnou worked as a director for national television in Cameroon (CRTV) for 15 years. «Paris at Any Cost» is her first feature. She writes, directs, produces and plays the main role.. |
